Peter Allen
Non-Executive Chairman
Peter Allen ACA was appointed Non-Executive Chairman in December 2007. He was CFO and Deputy CEO of Celltech Group plc between 1992 and 2004. In addition to managing the company's flotation process in 1993, leading to a listing on the London Stock Exchange, Peter played a key role in several strategic acquisitions, including Chiroscience, Medeva, and Oxford Glycosciences. In May 2004, Peter was a key participant in the sale of Celltech to UCB. Prior to this, he was Group Financial Controller of Associated British Ports Holdings plc and Financial Controller with L'Oreal (UK) Ltd. In April 2005, he was appointed CFO of Abacus Group plc, the noted electronics distributor.

Wilson Totten, MD
Chief Executive Officer
Dr Wilson Totten, a medically qualified executive with over 20 years of experience in international pharmaceutical businesses, moved to ProStrakan as CEO in 2004. Previously he was on the main board of Shire plc as Group R&D Director and, before that, held senior posts with Astra, Fisons, 3M, and Eli Lilly. Wilson has wide international experience in the pharmaceutical sector covering all phases of drug development and commercial aspects such as licensing, joint ventures, and business development.

Abid Karim
President of Global Commercial Operations
As President of Global Commercial Operations, Abid is responsible for ProStrakan sales and marketing operations in the United States and Europe. He has worked at ProStrakan for 8 years. Prior to joining ProStrakan, he held positions with Novartis, Parke Davis, and Astra in various commercial roles.
